Siblings is a comedy series on BBC Three about a brother, Dan, and sister, Hannah (great name) and their life sharing a flat together. The big question is for all you sisters out there with brothers, would you share a flat with your bro? Just think about that.
You’ll probably recognise Hannah, who’s real name is Charlotte Ritchie, from Fresh Meat, she plays Oregon, the one who sleeps with her professor. Anyway, Hannah and Dan share a flat, and get on quite swimmingly, not the best, but they get on. The series is hilarious, light-hearted and is really close to home about what it’s like having a sibling, whether it’s a brother or a sister. You can empathise with both of them throughout, even when they’re being an utter dick or fighting for the favourite child award, because, let’s face it, we’ve all been there.
Hannah manages to wiggle her way in to the most awkward of situations and Dan in the strangest of situations. Hannah is definitely the coolest of the two and I’m not saying it because I’m a girl and I’m being bias, she genuinely is. She’s brutally honest, self centred, audacious and arrogant (and also has really cool outfits!) she sounds like a jerk, and she is, but she’s also really funny and for some reason I really like her. She loves pizza and loves her pyjamas and so do I. Dan is the geek of the two, he always has his hands in a project, he doesn’t date often and makes friends with old people in hospitals… (fun) and will agree to go out for dinner with Hannah’s boss and pretend he’s in a wheel chair, no questions asked.
Each episode cover all topics of life as a 20-something-year-old trying to find a place in the world and attempting (and failing) to fit in to society as we know it.
Siblings is aired on BBC Three every Monday @ 10:30pm, and again at 1:30am, incase you miss it, if you fancy giving it a watch, I highly recommend…
